SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTERIn our April newsletter, we reported on the favorable decision in the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, Ohio, awarding $8.5 million in damages to FG&I's clients, a plaintiff class of doctors, after a two-week trial. Subsequently, Judge Patrick Foley made a ruling awarding pre-judgment interest. Last month, Judge Foley entered a final judgment awarding over $13 million to the Plaintiff class. Defendants have said they will appeal. Next month Jeff Ireland is speaking at the Ohio CLE Institute Program, Litigation Basics.
