Of course the number of technology cases is increasing. Currently the technology disputes in the courts that FG&I is handling include an Internet domain name dispute between two companies with the same names; a dispute over alleged trade secrets in which the parties contest who conceived of the invention first; and a suit just filed by the firm involving unlawful use of registered trademarks over the Internet. In this just-filed action, the press has described the allegations in the complaint filed by FG&I as ones involving cyber rustlers, riding from out of the west into Dayton aboard an Internet search engine, to highjack our client's valuable trademarks. These cases show that clients continue to choose FG&I to develop and present complicated cases in a fashion that can be understood by fact finders.
