- Jeff Ireland has been appointed by the United States District Court in Camden, New Jersey to serve as liaison counsel to defendants in the MDL case involving the recall of pet food: In re Pet Foods Product Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1850 (D.N.J.), Civil Action No. 07-2867 (NLH).
- FI&C associates Erin Rhinehart and Katie Miltner were selected to receive the 2008 Ohio State Bar Association Foundation Community Service Award for their work in organizing the 5 for the Kids 5K run/walk race to benefit CARE House.

- Charlie Faruki was a participant in a mock trial program in Columbus sponsored by the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only organization of lawyers with substantial jury trial experience, which Charlie is a member, which sponsored the continuing legal education program.
- Charlie Faruki has been selected for inclusion in the 25th Anniversary Edition of The Best Lawyers in America, in the categories of Bet-The-Company Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Energy Law, and White-Collar Criminal Defense.

- In a class action being tried by our firm, on April 27, 2007 a jury returned verdicts on the compensatory damage claims of the first thirty-one (31) Plaintiffs whose cases went to trial resulting from the September 21, 2003, explosion at Isotec in Miamisburg, Ohio.
- FI&C Won Summary Judgment in a Case Pending in the Warren County Common Pleas Court.
- FI&C Defeated a Motion to Close Court Proceedings in a Matter Pending Before the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court .

- On behalf of a client that operates an internet website, FI&C succeeded in a preliminary injunction hearing in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio that raised trademark and breach of contract issues.
