Ron Raether spoke to privacy professionals at the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association.
Ron presented a list of the top ten privacy issues facing healthcare providers that included compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's red flag rules, issues raised by blogging and video file sharing, medical identity theft, e-prescriptions, employee privacy, and data preservation and litigation holds. Brian Wright spoke at a October 23, 2008 seminar for lending institution advertisers and ad agencies on mortgage advertising laws and regulations.
The seminar was sponsored by the Advertising Review Counsel, a joint project of the Greater Dayton Advertising Association and the Dayton Chapter of the Better Business Bureau. Brian's presentation, titled "How to Stay on the Right Side of the Law When Advertising Mortgage Lending Services & Products," focused on teaching lending and advertising professionals the practical impact of the numerous federal and state statutes and regulations that govern the advertising of mortgage lending services and products.
