Ron Raether published an article in the Dayton Business Journal that discussed privacy laws.
Using a scenario based on the popular television sitcom The Office, Ron discusses recent trends in workplace privacy in his article titled "Privacy in the Office." Ron has guided companies through the process of developing a reasonable and legally compliant privacy systems. Ron relied on this experience in writing about ten areas to focus on when developing an appropriate workplace privacy regimen. The article can be found: Here

In response to a call to action from Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Moyer, Marty Foos and Rebecca Owen participated in the Foreclosure Legal Assistance Group (FLAG) and successfully represented a foreclosure defendant pro bono.
The client had signed a sub-prime mortgage, with a high adjustable interest rate and balloon payment. Marty and Rebecca reached a settlement with the lender on terms favorable to the client.

FI&C's 2008 fall associate class began August 25, 2008.
The three new associates are Steve Weigand (University of Cincinnati College of Law), Trey Pauley (University of Toledo College of Law), and Tony Schoen (Ohio State Moritz College of Law).
