- After lengthy proceedings, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio has denied class certification in a putative class action brought against Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A.
- The Ohio Supreme Court ruled in favor of Aldrich Chemical Company in a class action case involving recoverable damages under Ohio nuisance law.
- Ron Raether prepared an amicus brief on behalf of the Coalition for Sensible Public Records Access the Consumer Data Industry Association in a Seventh Circuit appeal involving claims under the Driver's Privacy Protection Act.
- An article written by Jeff Cox and Melinda Burton was published by the Media Lawyer Resource Center.

- FI&C developed and implemented an innovative alternative dispute resolution process for a client sued by over 160 individual plaintiffs in federal and state courts in five different states.
- Attorneys Laura Sanom, Tom Kraemer, Eric Voigt, and Lindsay Potrafke substantially prevailed in a trade secrets case in federal court on several motions for summary judgment.
- Charlie Faruki was again selected by LAWDRAGON Magazine, as one of the top trial lawyers in the country.
- Charlie Faruki and Jeff Sharkey concluded a preliminary injunction hearing, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, before Judge Walter Rice.
- Jeff Cox was named "Barrister of the Month" in the June edition of The Dayton Bar Briefs published by the Dayton Bar Association.
- FI&C partner, Laura Sanom, was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Women's Bar Association last month.
- Bob Bartlett and Andy Reitz spoke to various editors and reporters at the Dayton Daily News regarding the Ohio Public Records Act and the Ohio Open Meetings Act.

- Jeff Ireland and Brian Wright prevailed on a motion for summary judgment in an action pending on the new Commercial Docket of the Court of Common Pleas for Hamilton County, Ohio.
- Charlie Faruki spoke in Cleveland at a program sponsored by the Northern District of Ohio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
- FI&C has received a commendation for the contributions of its lawyers and staff to A Special Wish Foundation, Inc.
