Stephen joined the firm as an associate in 2008, following his graduation from law school. He is a member of the Ohio and Dayton Bar Associations, as well as the Carl D. Kessler Inn of Court. Stephen is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

As an honors graduate from Bowling Green State University, Stephen received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double-major in Economics and Business Pre-Law, along with a minor in Philosophy. Stephen was a member of Bowling Green State University's mock trial team. While an undergraduate, Stephen also presented research papers at regional and national conferences.

Stephen graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2008, where he was the Publications Editor of the University of Cincinnati Law Review. While in law school, Stephen worked for two years at a Cincinnati law firm on several high-profile cases involving securities fraud class actions and corporate governance. Stephen also served for one semester as a judicial extern for Chief Justice Thomas Moyer of the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Stephen and his wife Lindsay live in West Chester, Ohio.
